Scrubs N Stuff is a retail uniform store located in St. Petersburg, Florida. The 2800 square foot location at the Lighthouse Crossing Shopping Center provides for a beautiful and diverse display and selection of product choices. Scrubs N Stuff provides a full staff of experienced and supportive sales associates. We are open SEVEN DAYS A WEEK and extended hours to provide full service to all areas requiring professional medical uniforms. We also provide Classroom by Cherokee school uniforms, and Chefwear.
What Makes Us Different?
When we began in late 2004, we wanted to see what uniform services were already being offered in the community. A few things I noticed immediately –
- STORES WERE NOT OPEN WHEN THEIR CUSTOMERS NEEDED TO SHOP. How could anyone work all day, and still have time to get to the uniform store to purchase needed items? Why weren’t scrub stores open 7 days a week? Sunday is a relaxing time to visit a store and make selections.
- MANY STORES WERE NOT ATTRACTIVE. Many stores had bare block walls, long racks, and signs hanging from the ceiling. The dressing rooms were barren, locked and patrolled by sales personnel. Sales people were not always helpful. Why couldn’t shopping for uniforms be a pleasant experience, more like shopping in a boutique?
We wanted a store that was based on providing beautiful and well made uniforms for professional people, staffed by knowledgeable and helpful people. Scrubs N Stuff has based its' reputation on providing QUALITY, SELECTION and SERVICE. We opened a store that was pleasant, decorative, and has an incredible selection – things that you couldn’t find everywhere else. We are OPEN 7 DAYS and extended hours to supply outstanding service to our customers. Scrubs N Stuff has steadily built a reputation, and a relationship with the Medical, Dental and Hospitality communities. We pride ourselves on the very best manufacturers in the business – Landau, Cherokee, Barco, Peaches, Nu-Dimension, White Swan, White Cross, LA Rose, Mad About Scrubs, and others! We are always open to look at new and upcoming designers, like the recently launched line by Kathy Peterson, designer of the new young Koi line out of California. Scrubs N Stuff was the first company to place a purchase nationally for the new line, and it is doing very well for us!
We carry a full line of medical accessories, such as Littman medical stethoscopes, scrub watches, medical protection eyewear and other items. We carry a large inventory of these items for quick response to your needs. Our footwear companies feature the best lines - Dansko, Klogs USA, Landau’s FootwoRX and Cherokee Rockers – and we are constantly seeking new and better footwear choices.
SCHOOL UNIFORMS. In Spring 2007, we added Classroom by Cherokee School Uniforms to our product line, responding to a need in the community for year round access to school uniforms. We have partnered with 12 schools in our area, with more being added every day. Look at our School Uniform section to see how we are partnering with schools in our area to provide much needed funds! Since our opening in early 2005, Scrubs N Stuff has become known as the store that has the unusual, and a full selection of first run quality uniform products. Our staff is awesome – Sue, Kelly, Anna, Hattie, Danielle, Randy, Lil, and Sarah! We are here seven days a week, and extended hours to serve your needs. We know our inventory, and we can help you maximize your uniform budget to wear fun and different designs.
STUDENT SUPPORT. College and/or technical students requiring uniforms automatically receive a 10% discount for uniforms and scrubs purchased at Scrubs N Stuff with the presentation of a school ID. The discount does not apply to sale merchandise, medical accessories or shoes. We also offer special discounts to medical magnets at Boca Ciega High School, and other technical schools. The philosophy of Scrubs N Stuff is to build a long term relationship with medical professionals. At the core of the relationship is our commitment to St. Petersburg College, and other Nursing Schools in the area, where student nurses, student vet techs, and student dental techs become accustomed to the service and selection offered by Scrubs N Stuff. Scrubs N Stuff has worked to develop a strong relationship with local medical education facilities, like Keiser Career College, Americare School of Nursing, Ultimate Medical Academy, and Florida Medical Prep. Scrubs N Stuff stocks and sells the required embroidered polo shirts for the two year and four year nursing program at the St. Petersburg College Nursing Program, with all proceeds going to the SPC Student Nursing Association. Scrubs N Stuff is also an approved vendor of the St. Petersburg College of Dental Hygiene, and provides special pricing to the St. Petersburg College Foundation Nursing Alumni Association. Scrubs N Stuff is also an invited member of the Advisory Council for the Pinellas Technical Education Centers (PTEC).
